Event planning
How to plan portable toilets for an outdoor event
Begin with expected attendance, event duration and the availability of permanent restrooms. Food and drink service, alcohol, warm weather and a long event window can all increase restroom demand. Include accessible units in the plan and keep routes to them firm, level and unobstructed.
Placement matters as much as quantity. Choose an area guests can find easily without putting units beside food service. Delivery and service vehicles need a practical approach route, so identify gates, low branches, soft ground and restricted access before delivery day.

Jobsite planning
Portable restroom checklist for construction projects
Estimate the typical daily crew size and account for subcontractors or overlapping shifts. The rental period, work schedule and site access help determine both unit quantity and servicing frequency. Place restrooms close enough to reduce lost work time while keeping them away from moving equipment and excavation edges.
Before delivery, confirm the street address, gate instructions, site contact and a level placement area. For longer projects, keep the service route open and communicate schedule or access changes promptly.

Inclusive, hygienic sites
When to add ADA units and handwashing stations
Accessible portable toilets support inclusive events and workplaces. They need a stable, level approach and enough clear space around the entrance. Avoid curbs, steps and narrow routes that make the unit difficult to reach.
Handwashing stations are useful when permanent plumbing is not available, especially where food is served or crews handle shared tools and materials. Plan them where users naturally exit the restroom area without blocking accessible routes.
